Hi Poppy. Sure wind power takes a lot of space that is why it is mostly suited in off-shore areas or in mountain ridges where there are no other major alternative land use. With fossil fuels expected to be gone in our lifetime (crude oil gone within 70 years, natural gas gone in 60 years, geothermal reserves needing 50-100 years to regenerate, and coal gone in 250 years), there is an urgent need to make use of other renewable energy resources (biomass, co-generation, mini-hydro or run-of-river, wind, solar, ocean thermal energy conversion or OTEC). Cheers. Marcial

Wind power is a good source of electricity but it also takes up lots of space just like solar power plants.':.
